QPS EMPLOYMENT GROUP, INC. PRIVACY POLICY

QPS Employment Group, Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “QPS”) respects the privacy of our applicants, customers and employees. Please read this website privacy policy (the “Policy”) carefully as it describes how QPS Employment Group, Inc. collects, uses, and discloses personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) about you (“you,” “your,” “Visitor”) through our website (the “Site”).

Your Consent

Your use of the Site constitutes your agreement to the Policy including any revisions, as well as your consent to the terms herein. If you do not agree with the Policy, you may not use our Site. In addition, by using this Site, you are also agreeing to the Terms of Use. Please See Terms of Use.

Collections and Uses of Personal Information

  • Non-Identifiable Information: If you visit our Site, we will collect and permanently store certain anonymous information such as the domain name and host from which you accessed the Internet (e.g., aol.com), the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer, your browser software, and operating system, the date and time you accessed the Site and the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our Site or to which you linked after visiting our Site.
    • Use: we use this information to measure the number of visitors to sections of our Site, to determine from where our visitors linked and to where our visitors link from the Site and to help us make our Site more useful. Such uses of information include enhancing security, monitoring appropriate usage of our systems and to producing traffic volume statistics.
  • Personal Information: In general, Personal Information is requested when you use or register with the Site looking for employment or to search for a candidate to fill a job opening. For customers, we will ask for information necessary to fulfill the staffing request as well as to maintain our business relationship with you. For applicants, we will ask for certain Personal Information which is collected and stored in a file specific to you. We ask for your name, address, and other Personal Information such as work experience, education, and skills. If you choose not to provide certain required Personal Information, you will not be able to use the Site and the services granted to those who complete the registration process. Your electronic submitted application will be forwarded to the nearest QPS “brick-and-mortar” branch office so that they may better serve you.
    • Use: we may use your Personal Information to contact and correspond with you, respond to your communications, process transactions, facilitate and enhance your use of the Site, to provide you with information regarding employment opportunities and career-related information, to otherwise provide you with requested information or services through the Site, and as otherwise permitted by law. We may also from time to time use your Personal Information to send you automated email messages or marketing materials regarding our services, including information about employment opportunities. At any time, you may opt out of receiving such marketing email messages by logging into the system and changing your “Opt Out / Opt In” status.

We may also compile demographic data (i.e. number of applicants who have completed two years of college) for statistical analysis for customers, marketing companies or as required by law. If we do compile and report this demographic information, we remove any unique personally identifiable information such as name, address, etc. that would attach you to this demographic data. This data is used and analyzed only at an aggregate level so that we may continuously improve our services to you and to better market our services.

  • Cookies: The Site may use “cookies,” a technology that installs a small text file on your computer to permit the Site to recognize future visits using that computer. Cookies enhance the convenience and use of the Site. Any information we store in a cookie file on your computer will be encoded to help secure your Personal Information. QPS also uses a session ID cookie which is similar to an actual cookie as described above except a session ID cookie terminates once you close your browser window. You may choose to decline cookies if your browser permits, but doing so may affect your use of the Site and your ability to access or use certain Site features.
    • Use: the information provided through cookies is used to recognize you as a previous user for the Site, to track your activity at the a Site in order to respond to your needs, to offer personalized content and information for your use, to automatically populate online forms with your personal information for your convenience, and to otherwise facilitate your Site experience.


Disclosures of Personal Information

QPS may disclose Personal Information to its Affiliates. This disclosure would occur in the following circumstances:

  • We will disclose information to our clients where necessary and appropriate in connection with the provision of staffing services.
  • We may disclose information to the extent necessary or appropriate to companies and individuals we employ to perform business functions and services on our behalf. Such functions may include, for example, analyzing data, providing legal, accounting and marketing services.
  • In addition, personal data may also be shared with other QPS divisions where other employment opportunities may exist. There also may be instances when we have agents acting on our behalf so as to provide you with additional employment opportunities.
  • We may disclose information to the extent necessary or appropriate to government agencies, advisors, and other third parties in order to comply with applicable laws, the service of legal process, or if we reasonably believe that such action is necessary to (a) protect the integrity of the Site; (b) comply with the law requiring such discloser; (c) protect the rights or property of QPS or its affiliated companies; (d) prevent crime or protect national security or (e) protect the personal safety of the users or the public.
  • We may disclose information to an acquiring organization if QPS is involved in the sale or transfer of some or all of its business.


Correction or Removal of Personal Information

QPS strives to keep your Personal Information accurate, complete, and current. We will give you the ability to review and update the personal information you have provided. Upon your request, we may remove your Personal Information from our database and correct any errors you identify in such information. If Personal Information is removed you will lose access to the parts of the Site for which you must provide such Personal Information to gain access. After removal, we will only retain copies of such information as are necessary for us to comply with governmental orders, Federal and State law, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, enforce any agreement you have entered into through our sites and as otherwise reasonably necessary. Any Personal Information provided as a part of a transaction on the Site represents a record of that business transaction that cannot be altered after the transaction is complete.


Opt Out / Opt In

QPS may send e-mails regarding career or other promotional opportunities. Each notification tells you how to opt out of receiving future e-mails. The database is automatically updated when you opt out.


Security

We believe one of the most unique and valuable aspects of QPS is our ability to provide a secure environment where you can efficiently exchange information and transact business without fear of non-permitted disclosure or use of proprietary information. QPS has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control including encryption, firewalls, secured servers, and database security. We will use our best efforts to ensure that the information you provide us remains private and is used only for the purposes set forth herein. Although no one can guarantee absolute security, we will continue to monitor and update our security measures to help ensure sensitive information remains protected.

Except as specifically permitted by this Policy or our Terms of Use you may not disclose nor share your QPS password with any third parties or Affiliates. If you lose control of your QPS password you may lose control over your Personal Information, and you will be responsible for any legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password.


Links to Other Sites

This Site contains links to other QPS company sites that adhere to the same privacy principles. However, there may be links to other websites or internet resources (“Linked Sites”). When you click on one of these Linked Sites, you are contacting another webste or internet resource that may collect information about you voluntarily or through cookies or other technologies. These Linked Sites are not under the control of QPS and QPS is not responsible nor is liable for the contents of any Linked Site, including without limitation, any link contained in a Linked Site, any changes or updates to a Linked site, security of a Linked site, or their collection, use and disclosure of your personal information. Therefore, you access these Linked Sites at your own risk. You should review the privacy and security policies of those other websites and internet resources to understand how they collect, use and maintain information. QPS does not in any manner whatsoever endorse, sponsor or affiliate itself with such Linked Sites.



Changes to this Privacy Policy

QPS in its sole discretion reserves the right to update at any time this Policy without prior notice or liability to you or any other person. This Policy as it then reads will govern the privacy of your information. Revisions posted here will overwrite previous Policy versions. Please check this page periodically for changes.
