Position Title: Assembler
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Assembler at a company in Schofield, WI. This is a temp to hire position for 1st shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Read instructions such as work orders, diagrams, blue prints, process sheets and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence or assembly- Select cables of specified color, marking, or length, and assembles wires to construct a harness on a table or harness board, following color-codes or sequential numbers on board or blue prints- Wrap and tie wires together at designated points to form harness using tape or tyraps- Apply terminals and splice to wires using pneumatic or hand tools; Solder splices or terminals using solder pot, soldering iron, or resistance tweezers- Twist wires together using an electric drill and heat gun- Attach ends of wires to connectors, components, plugs, or terminal strip- Insert cable in plastic tubing or injects sealant or hot glue around terminals or connectors to protect cable from dust and moisture- Test wiring continuity and component values ( i e diodes and resistors) with a multi meter and continuity tester- Mark identifying data on completed harness
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Production and manufacturing experience is a plus- Manufacturing job shop environment experience preferred- Ability to be flexible to meet changing requirements- Use of basic hand tools- needle nose pliers, screw driver, scissors- Lifting and/or move 35lb-50lbs occasionally- Manual dexterity for fine finger manipulations - Regularly required to stand- Use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms- Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel or crouch

Position Title: CNC Operator

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Mount pieces in the CNC and run the program- Check finished pieces to see that all dimensions match the print- Take the first part to QC department for approval to run the job- Run first production pieces and do first piece inspection- Recheck pieces according to frequency determined by QC- Debur, countersinking, cutting or other minor operations needed to finish the piece- Perform final piece count when the order is done- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and building - Operate overhead crane
Requirements:- Able to work 100% of the time in a manufacturing setting and can include sitting, standing, walking, crouching reaching, stooping and twisting- Able to withstand frequent repetition of fingers, hand wrists, and shoulders- Ability to handle, carry or lift 80lbs and push 75lbs- Able to operate a computer, and various small hand tools- Able to add, subtract, divide and multiply - Able to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence- Ability to write standard documentation- Must be able to follow all established safety rules and procedures- Must work in a moderate to loud environment- Able to occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne articles

Requirements:- Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.- Solidworks and/or AutoCAD proficiency.- 1-3 years of experience designing in a manufacturing environment.

Position Title: Die Cleaner

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Follow resource group dispatch list to identify dies needed for production, and to set up and polish extrusion dies for production runs- Analyze a variety of die constructions and perform correction procedures which allow production dies to be run on a repeated basis while maintaining required specifications and tolerances- Possess the experience and ability to perform all jobs required of an extrusion worker; maintain a thorough understanding of die print reading and comprehension for critical tolerance inspection- Polish dies and set-up dies for production schedules- Tear down ran dies and complete procedures for caustic tank clean out, all phases on honing and polishing, as well as die correction- Perform minor maintenance and operation of forklift equipment; lift dies manually or with hoist, and position them within vises or other devises; use hand tools, such as files, abrasives, etc., to smooth, flatten, and contour surfaces for required die correction- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and building- Operate overhead crane
