Position Title: Warehouse Associate
Shift: 12 hour Nights
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Warehouse Associate at a company in Madison, WI. This is a direct hire position for a 12 hour night shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Operate forklift equipment to perform required duties to support production, fill customer orders and ensure consistent flow of materials both inbound and outbound- Meet department goals for efficiency- Participate in continuous improvement efforts- Fill customer and production orders accurately and efficiently, ensure that product is stored, received and shipped to quality standards- Perform timely and accurate transactions to maintain the integrity of inventory systems- Maintain department equipment by performing daily checks, maintain department KPI’s- Perform cleaning as needed to maintain GMP/AIB requirements- Follow all policies and procedures regarding safety and participates in company and department safety initiatives- Communicate with all customers and team members in a courteous, prompt and accurate manner
Requirements:- High School diploma or equivalent - 1 year of relevant warehouse experience- Ability to pass vision test including: visual acuity-corrected vision of at least 20/40: peripheral and depth perception- Must complete forklift certification upon hire

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Operate forklift equipment to perform required duties to support production, fill customer orders and ensure consistent flow of materials both inbound and outbound- Meet and support department goals for efficiency- Lead and participate in continuous improvement efforts- Direct associates to ensure required tasks such as shipping, receiving, production support and are accomplished timely and efficiently- Ensure shuttle loads between locations are moved efficiently and ensure that short items are moved efficiently
Requirements:- High School Diploma or equivalent- 1 year of relevant warehouse experience- Ability to pass a vision test including visual acuity-corrected vision of at least 20/40, peripheral vision and depth perception- Must complete forklift certification upon hire
Position Title: Electrician - Master or Journeyman level
Wage: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Electrician at a company in Madison, WI. This is a direct hire position for 1st shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Installs and monitors performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.- Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.- Repairs and maintains motor control centers and programmable logic controls (1000 volt and below).- Plans electrical secondary system additions or modifications- Possess knowledge of all types of electrical conduit so as to measure, cut, bend, tread, assemble, and install. Primarily EMT, IMC, RMC, and RNC.- Pull wiring through conduit systems while observing designated wire types, colors, and sizes accordingly.- Splice wires with twist on connectors and/or terminate wires to lighting, power, and control equipment by stripping insulation from terminal leads and applying crimp terminals when required then fastening to terminal lugs or screws.- Install control and distribution equipment such as switches, receptacles, and circuit breakers.- Possess working knowledge of the NEC.- Possess familiarity and working knowledge of 120/240 single phase, 120/240V delta 3 phase, 120/208V 3 phase, and 277/480V 3 phase systems.
Requirements:- State of Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License as a minimum. Master Electrician license preferred.- Three to five years of experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the installation of electrical wiring and equipment relating to manufacturing - Ability to diagnose and repair electrical controls, industrial motor control centers, and PLCs.

Position Title: Material Handler
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Material Handler at a company in Verona, WI. This is a direct hire position for night shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Pull material from the warehouse and prepare material for production; preparation includes drying, mixing, and other handling processes as needed- Maintain proper levels of appropriate materials in all assigned machine hoppers- Enter proper dryer settings for material being processed; use material moisture analyzer as needed- Mix regrind with virgin material in proper ratio for production- Mix color concentrate or other additives with base material as needed- Clean material handling equipment at the press when job is complete; also clean filters on equipment as needed- Remove material from portable drying equipment and thoroughly cleans dryer to prepare for next job- Return unused material to the proper area for return to the warehouse- Monitor equipment settings to optimize performance- Keep all material handling areas clean and free from clutter- Clean up any plastic pellets spilled as quickly as possible- Monitor progress of each production job for timely material preparation- Perform duties of the Relief Operator as needed- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:- High school education or equivalent required- Training in proper material identification and handling required- Must have good basic math skills- Ability to read and speak English- Prior experience as a Press Operator and be familiar with duties of the Relief Operator required- Basic knowledge and comfort level with computer data entry is required- Must be able work as a part of a team with a minimum of direct supervision- Good communications skills and a high mechanical aptitude are essential - Ability to stand/walk for the entire shift- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis- Forklift operator training required
