Position Title: Assembler
Shift: 2nd, 3rd
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Assembler at a company in Kenosha, WI. This is a temp to hire position for 2nd or 3rd shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Cross train to assemble a variety of parts while maintaining quality standards- Manually assemble various components by hand and by use of pneumatic drills and drivers- Verify product quality and conformance by utilizing visual inspection methods- Notify Manual Team Leader of all material and/or equipment deficiencies- Follow all safety rules and practices
Requirements:- Previous experience in using pneumatic drivers, Sorting Parts and Weigh Scale a plus but not necessary- Basic SPC and Quality Experience preferred but not necessary- Ability to produce, work independently of direct supervision, maintain high production rates and quality
Position Title: General Labor
Shift/Wage: 1st - $9.00/hr., 2nd - $9.50/hr., and 3rd - $9.75/hr.
Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm, 2:00pm-10:30pm, or 10:00pm-6:30am
QPS Employment Group is now hiring for a General Labor position at a company located in Kenosha, WI. This is a temporary position with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:-Rework, labeling and packaging.-Inserting can tips and adding and removing stickers to cans and boxes.-Inserting of plastic handles to paint gallons.-Notify crew lead of error correction completion and rewraps/labels and stages pallets in same lane removed from.
Requirements include:-Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. -Must have the ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.-Must be able to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.-Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.-Detail oriented and able to follow directions.-Steel toe shoes and safety glasses are required.-Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
Position Title: Molding Operator
Hours: 10pm-6am, Sunday-Thursday
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Molding Operator at a company in Kenosha, WI. This is a temp to hire position for 2nd or 3rd shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Put new material in the bin- Pack parts- Tape boxes, close all bags and boxes- Label all boxes- Operate hand pallet truck to move pallets to proper staging area- General department housekeeping- Take scrap to the dumpster- Check first shot after each time the box is pulled- Compare parts to acceptance criteria- Take accept/reject determination- Sort parts from runners- Regrind runners and scrap parts- Move production to final audit area- Follow all Safety/Housekeeping Regulations- Reports problems to the mold technician
Requirements:- Knowledge of basic math (decimals and fractions)- Attention to detail- Final inspection, sorting parts, weigh scale
Position Title: Order Picker
Shift/Wage: 1st - $11.00/hr., 2nd - $11.50/hr., 3rd - $11.75/hr.
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for an Order Picker at a company in Kenosha, WI. This is a temp to hire position with 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:-Efficiently, accurately, and safely process customer orders by filling, verifying and maintaining documentation on incoming and outgoing shipments.-Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, and other equipment. -Sort cargo before loading and unloading. -Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information. -Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs. -Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.-Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported. -Direct spouts and position receptacles, such as bins, carts, or containers so they can be loaded. -Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected. -Carry needed tools and supplies from storage or trucks, and return them after use.
Requirements include:-Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. -Must have the ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects. -Must be able to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out' or fatiguing. -Able to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down. -Must be able to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.-Able to lift 20-50 lbs. approximately 8-12 hours in an eight hour work days.-Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
