Position Title: Blow Molder
Shift: 2nd, 3rd
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Blow Molder at a company in Gurnee, IL. This is a temp to hire position for 2nd or 3rd shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Know and follow all of the Company’s safety rules, such as safe work practices and standard operating procedures- Serve as a good role model to employees for safe work practices and behavior by conducting yourself professionally, keeping in mind your own safety and the safety of others- Learn and master all necessary areas of the quality system- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)- Review all available criteria for the given assignment to ensure awareness and compliance with requirements including part specific production order requirements and visual standards- Perform specific deflashing and assembly of Blow Molded Case- Perform continuous visual verification activities per the available Standards and Customer Approved parts- Contact Quality regarding part acceptance issues or any product or process questions/concerns- Maintain the Part Weight Log and Scrap Tally sheet- Place all scrap in grinder (except for contaminated parts)- Pack manufactured items according to Visual Work Instructions- Move finished product to staging area as needed- Participate in proper Housekeeping practices and general clean-up of the work area- Inform Material Handler when supplies for the job are running low- Return all standard and part specific documentation to its designated area- Complete all necessary paperwork to clearly indicate the status of the specific assignment- Communicate the status of the operation to the next shift- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements:- High School Diploma or equivalent is required - One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate the English language in a proficient manner- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situationsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Position Title: CNC Operator
Hours: 3:30pm-12am, M-F
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a CNC Operator at a company in Gurnee, IL. This is a temp to hire position for 2nd shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, materials, specifications, drawings, locations of surfaces and machining parameters- Verify stock inventory by checking available stock against work orders; anticipate needed stock; place and expedite work orders- Properly load material and unload finished parts from dedicated fixturing using provided tools- Maintain specifications by observing operations; take measurements; adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes- Proper disposition of Non-Conforming Product- Meet production goals in terms of quantity and quality- Leverage and use computer system to document actions by completing required work orders reporting piece counts and scrap counts etc. (electronic logs)- Participate in required meetings and training- Maintain safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Requirements:- Ability to stand for 8 hours or more with scheduled breaks- Ability to routinely lift up to 45 lbs.- Ability to read and speak English in order to comprehend and participate in training, company meetings etc.- Ability to use and understand basic computer skills
Position Title: Production
Hours: 5pm-3:30am, M-Th
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Production Worker at a company in Gurnee, IL. This is a temporary position for 2nd shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Facilitate the loading and packaging of all products which are run on the production line(s)- Pack bottles- Build pallets- Ensure production runs efficiently and safely- Follow all safety guidelines according to company and OSHA standards- Clean machine, wipe conveyor belt and other daily and weekly clean up responsibilities
Requirements:- Ability to operate pallet truck- Ability to perform all tasks while continuously standing- Ability to stand throughout shift with scheduled breaks- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally- Ability to lift 1-20 lbs repetitively- Routinely hear, see, and talk to effectively communicate in person with supervisors, co-workers- Read, understand, and follow written and oral instructions
Position Title: Electronic Technician
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Electronic Techncian at a company in Waukegan, IL. This is a temp to hire position for 1st shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Test and repair complex analog and digital printed circuit boards and assemblies- Troubleshoot down to component level and repair all nonconforming material- Soldering and de-soldering of components on surface mount and through hole circuit board assemblies- Customer technical support- Analyze process problems and test processes for improvement- Keeping area neat and organized- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:- Requires Electronic Trade School Certification- Associate Degree in Electronics, preferred- Requires 3-5 years technician experience in an electronics manufacturing environment - Certification in soldering, preferred- Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting, preferred - Knowledge of digital and analog electronic circuitry- Knowledge of trouble shooting procedures - Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation- Excellent organizational skills, problem solving techniques, and accuracy are essential
