Position Title: Machine Operator
Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Hours: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Machine Operator at a company in Elkhorn, WI. This is a temp to hire position for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Report data collection and coordinate with mold tech’s or maintenance for machining errors- Separate parts from runners- Pick up bins of parts from shelves under machines- Package parts in bags, totes or boxes as applicable- Palletize product per work instructions- Inspect duck bill once it has been molded together by the machine operator- Provide precise judgment and closely monitor product for defects- Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor- Adherence to all policies, procedures, rules and regulations- Attendance to work is an essential function of this job

Position Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Wage: $65,000 per year
Shift: 2nd or 3rd
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Maintenance Supervisor at a company in Darien, WI. This is a direct hire position for 2nd or 3rd shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Actively promote plant safety and environmental programs and procedures that are in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.- Conduct routine inspections of the facility grounds and structures to identify and initiate corrective action for safety and environmental discrepancies, as well as physical and systems discrepancies.- Support the implementation of reliability based maintenance elements in alignment with the corporate standards. Direct and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel in responding to plant production and maintenance needs.- Direct and coordinate activities necessary for maintaining and repairing facility, grounds and structures.- Direct and coordinate activities necessary for managing plant preventive maintenance.- Manage maintenance personnel within to current labor contract / labor standards.- Provide continual leadership and guidance to maintenance personnel for the purpose of increasing their effectiveness and establishing good working relationships.- Promote an environment conducive to teams, teamwork, and line-driven accountability. - Apply disciplinary actions in accordance with plant policies and procedures.- Track, analyze and take corrective action to prevent equipment down time.- Plan, organize, implement and monitor the installation of assigned capital projects.- Facilitate training of maintenance and plant personnel in the operation, safety and maintenance of equipment, as required.- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance systems policies and procedures.- Provide technical assistance resources for production related activities, such as plant trials.- Keep management informed of the status of maintenance issues impacting production and product deployment.- Complete special projects, duties and assignments, as appropriate.
Requirements:- Minimum of 5 years of project engineering or related maintenance experience, required.- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance or production supervision experience, preferred.- Experience in facilities maintenance such as: HVAC, air compressors and electrical distribution preferred.- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, preferred.- Experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or equivalent preferred- Experience working with a diverse group of people.- Solid analytical skills using tools such as statistics, downtime tracking, mechanical history, project planning, etc. to identify opportunity areas.- Ability to use innovative approaches to resolve complex problems.- Strong computer skills, including a proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.- Ability to quickly come up to speed on complex production processes.- Ability to analyze data and information, and to make effective and timely decisions.- Ability to work with others to identify opportunities.- Ability to communicate at multiple levels both verbally and in writing.- Ability to work under pressure and to react to situations with a strong sense of urgency.- Solid problem solving, project management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.- Detail oriented, organized, reliable and resourceful.- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.- Proficient with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and experience with Infor EAM CMMS is preferred.- Completion of a two year technical college degree program or Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Facility Management or related curriculum or equivalent experience is required- A license in a skilled trade (i.e. electrical, plumbing or HVAC) is preferred.- Formal training certificate in planning/scheduling, reliability based main

Position Title: Maintenance Technician
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Maintenance Technician at a company in Darien, WI. In this position, the Maintenance Technician will control the efficient operation of all plant equipment by performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and electronic repair and preventive maintenance. This is a direct hire position for 2nd shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Troubleshoot and diagnose all maintenance failures- Use assembly drawings and manuals to tune equipment for operation, use electrical (VFD’s, SCR’s, motor starters) and logic (PLC, SLC) principles to solve equipment problems- Use basic plumbing, metal working and general facilities and building maintenance knowledge as needed- Work with operating devices such as gages, pressure transmitters, etc.- Train new Associates and team members on required skill sets for Maintenance- Maintain work area in a safe and orderly fashion according to GMP and Safety guidelines- Perform any other related miscellaneous duties assigned by Team Leader- Will be required to work with and train operations - Assist on basic equipment troubleshooting and assist operations as needed with production
Requirements:- Basic electrical knowledge- Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints- Must own common tools for the trade knowledge and ability to use hand tools - Able to accurately and efficiently diagnose building, equipment and machine problems- Ability to use hands, stand and/or walk 100% of the day- Ability to bend, stoop or twist 50% of the day- Ability to read and write job tickets and reports

Position Title: Production
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Production Worker at a company in Sharon, WI. This is a 1st shift, long-term temporary position for 6-9 months.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Prioritize production and assign lot numbers as required - Print packaging labels using label machine - Inspect product for defects prior to packaging - Make boxes to pack products and run them through a sealing and labeling machine - Stack boxes on pallets with labels facing out - Maintain a clean work area which may include sweeping or mopping
Requirements:- Ability to lift up to 60lbs frequently throughout the entire shift - Ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift - Bending, reaching, and twisting frequently throughout the entire shift
