Position Title: High Voltage Electrician

Position Title: Lab Tech

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Work with Food Technologist- Assist with projects - Prepare large quantities of food products for testing and sampling- Lab startup and shutdown- Log borrowed lab equipment and raw materials- Log packages as they come in- Prepare samples and/or tests on lab scale - Prepare samples for shipment- Prioritize time based on project demands- Environmental, Equipment, & ATP Swabbing- Air Settling Plates (Yeast and Mold)- Data Entry - GMP Standard Improvement

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:-Follows all safety policies and procedures defined by the company safety program and OSHA regulations to eliminate work related injuries. -Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products per specified standards. -Monitors the process using meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. -Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment. -Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment. -Follows established procedures for operating various conventional/CNC (computerized numerical control) manufacturing equipment -Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing

Position Title: Welder
QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Welder at a company in Beloit, WI. This is a temp to hire position for 2nd shift.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Perform tack-up and welding of Carbon and Stainless Steel parts, sub-assemblies & assembly’s utilizing GMAW & FCAW weld processes in accordance with engineering drawings, and written/verbal instructions- Perform weld joint preparation and post weld clean-up, per instructions above- Assist in the assembly and in-plant erection of systems in production- Perform thermal cutting of carbon & stainless steel materials by oxy-acetylene and plasma processes in accordance with engineering drawings and written/verbal instructions- Responsible for the dimensional, structural, visual and cosmetic quality of work performed, before and after the physical welding or cutting has taken place, and will inspect such work in accordance with provided standards- Utilize and operate fork trucks, overhead bridge cranes, hoist
Requirements:- Air and electric disc and belt grinders- Air and electric drills, saws- Magnetic Drill Press- Hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, scrapers, hammers, tape measures, chisels, punches, pliers, wire-cutters, etc.- Portable Oxy/Acetelyne & Plasma cutting equipment- Portable Hydraulic Punching equipment- Plate bevellers- Capable of performing complex tasks with a minimum of supervision- High School diploma (or HSED/GED), or experience/aptitude in the Fabrication position to substitute for a diploma/GED- 1 year Welding Course, or 2 years previous experience- Must successfully complete welding certification testing per ASME pressure vessel welding code, Section IX, for the 2G & 3G welding positions, using GMAW & FCAW weld processes- Demonstrated ability to instruct others of lesser proficiency in increasing their skills
