Hiring in 2nd Quarter expected to be moderate

Most companies don't plan to do much hiring in the next three months, but several employer surveys are showing a modest number are planning to bring on more staff in the near future.
QPS Employment Group's survey of more than 500 companies in Illinois and Wisconsin shows 34 percent of companies plan to add staff in the second quarter, compared with 25 percent in QPS' first-quarter survey.
