The problem here is actually a great problem for most companies. A large customer of ours was looking to expand due to recent demands and they needed to increase staffing levels in all areas. A good problem, but with needing staff in a short period of time, this was a dilemma nonetheless.
How QPS solved the issue -
Our Fond du lac office immediately presented a plan back to the company. The steps to increasing staff in a limited time included:
Recruiting - Thru online campaigns, grass roots efforts and referrals, we were able to generate interest and start with a large pool of applicants to choose from.
Selection - We wanted to be sure the candidates placed were the right fit, so after a first interview at our branch office, the applicants were set up for a tour at the company led by a QPS internal employee. After feedback from the company, new applicants were selected to start.
First Day - As new employees started, QPS provided an onsite representative who handled orientations, handled future employee tours and interviews, managed daily attendance, employee payroll as well other personnel issues as they arose.
